Our owner, Pat Penn, is a lifelong East Texan with deep roots in the Lufkin community. A graduate of Texas A&M University (Class of 2001) with a degree in Civil Engineering, Pat brings both technical expertise and real-world experience to the business.
Raised in Angelina County, Pat has spent his career working with land, construction, and development giving him a strong foundation in structural systems and customer-focused solutions.

Together with his wife Cassie, a Texas A&M graduate in Agriculture Development and Resource Management (Class of 2006), the Penn family has built a business centered around service, reliability, and relationships. Their shared background in engineering and agriculture reflects a practical, hands-on approach to everything we do.

At Easy Lift, family is at the heart of our operation. Their children John, Seth, Kylie, and Ruthie are part of the story, with John working in the shop and Seth contributing part-time. This family-first culture extends to our customers, where every project is treated with care and personal attention.

Supporting the team is Paul Slatter, our main welder and Pat’s cousin, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail help ensure every product meets the highest standards of durability and performance.
